Life without pleasure is life draining, it is malnourishing, it is toxic and over time it leads to disorientation, disconnection, to a lifelessness, lethargy and death of the spirit or life force.  Pleasure is not a luxury for human beings, it is essential, nurturing, life giving and over time leads to expansion, growth, aliveness, repair and rejuvenation.  We are naturally ecstatic open and expansive beings, sadly for many of us we have become accustomed to being dependent on others to experience sexual pleasure.  This is not an empowered way to be as a sexual being in this world.  Owning and mastering your sexual energy and power is a way to take responsibility for your own life and pleasure, and thrive as a human being, rather than feeling dependent on someone else.
